HL7's 15th Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) Connectathon is a 1.5 day event of hands-on FHIR development and testing held in conjunction with the Madrid International Conference & Working Group Meeting in Madrid, Spain. This will be the first connectathon where we will test the newly released FHIR STU3. The FHIR Connectathon is a great opportunity for implementers and developers to:

• Gain hands-on experience developing FHIR-based solutions by participating in one of eleven tracks, inlcuding tracks for first-timers and those interested in informatics
• Exchange data with other FHIR interfaces
• Learn from senior members of the FHIR standard development team
• Network with other FHIR developers

Note: Participants are also encouraged to attend the Application Implementation and Design (AID) Work Group on Sunday afternoon following the Connectathon – continue the conversation with product demos and developer-to-developer discussions.
